It is with great pleasure that we are finally able to invite you to the UNESCO SDG Camp – Sustainability Across Borders in Schleswig 2022. The camp was originally planned to take place in 2020 – finally we are going to make it happen! We are inviting young people from Denmark, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Sweden to meet each other and work with the SDGs and how we create sustainability across cultures and borders.
To participate in the camp, every participating school needs to bring a workshop. The workshop – with a topic of your choice, but connected to sustainability and the SDGs – should be designed for 15 participants and a duration of approx. 3 hours.
We invite 2 teachers and 3-4 students from each BSP country. Accommodation takes place in tents on the lawn in front of A.P. Møller School. You are welcome to bring your own tent, however, if that is not possible we will provide a tent for you.
Some practical aspects
It’s a camp, all participants will sleep in tents. You need to bring: sleeping bag and sleeping pad, a water bottle, clothes (expect rainy and cool days and especially nights), towels and toothbrush, your own medication if needed, a power bank for your mobile phone.
You will have to arrange your travel to the camp in Schleswig yourself and at your own costs.
Your stay in the camp, accommodation, meals, drinks, excursions are free of charge. We will serve vegetarian food. Let us know about special needs on registration if you have any.
The registration period ended on 31 May, 2022
Deadline for your workshop registration: 15 August, 2022.
Please let us know about the equipment you need from us for your workshop by that day.
